If you've been away for this long, who wouldn't sacrifice a little bit more time to put himself in position to be able to take care of kids better with NFL money?

Doesn't make sense. Sounds like he see's the writing on the wall.

The players that Saban has recruited (while at Alabama) from Louisiana that have left before completing their eligibility is piling up..

Green
Sentimore
Bell

Sims is probably next now that he has CRob on board.

Luther Davis was also a part-time player, but at least he finished his career there.

Kenny Bell was one of top receivers last two years catching, blocking, very fast, all things. Badly broke leg in Auburn game - dirty hit of course - and really never fully recovered, lost speed.

Graduated in December, but with leg issues he was not good prospects for NFL and would have slipped down depth chart this season. Best wishes to the young man.

Here is what Bell could do... see 2nd 3rd play in opener against Michigan last year.

It's really pathetic how people are taking shots at this guy. He was never going to be a superstar wherever he went.
He was a pretty good player that made a handful of big plays for the best program in the country, and won 2 Championship rings!! And the most important part is that he got a fricking degree!! Kudos to the kid, he may sound like a jackass on twitter but he's done a hell of a lot more than most folks!!
