to defend last night's performance?

Dang, you want wins to be defended?

And here I thought exciting OT wins should just be enjoyed. Go figure.......

Thats not to much to ask for. Back to back undefeated seasons in the SEC happens all the time.

I've stated time and time again the last two years have been tough on LSU at QB.Jefferson will have a full year of SEC play under his belt.I do exspect him to be better next year for that reason. We won't know till next year.

So having a year under your belt makes you better? Automatically? To that I ask..Has he shown improvement this year?

So, lets play some what ifs...

What if....Miles keeps Crowton and Jefferson shows some improvement, but we still finish 3rd in the SEC or worse next year?

What if....Miles fires Crowton and Jefferson still under performs under a new QB coach? Again, resulting in a 3rd place finish or worse in the SEC?

Will you be back here stating the same thing?

When does this become a product of Miles's coaching in your eyes? Jefferson's junior year? His senior year? Never?

You can't have it both ways. That is what pisses me off. More teams have dominated Arky in SEC play than have had close games.

I agree with you, but did you watch all the games LSU played when saban was HC? We rarely blew away SEC teams back then. Some of the bottom dwellers we did, but as long as I've been alive, LSU always plays most of the sec games fairly close. It's always been that way no matter who's coaching. It's the SEC.

I do agree with you in the fact I think crowton needs to go though. He is too predictable and the fact that he can't teach Jefferson to throw the ball away and not take a sack is mind boggling.

But I don't see why everyone seems to think Miles needs to go. Sure he blew the Ole Miss game and has had some mistakes, but so far he corrects everything that needs to be corrected. (new d coordinator this year, and the final drive against arky LSU looked like a weel oiled machine minus that first sack)

The fact is crap happens and Miles' fixes it when he can. The only thing that really bothered me about him is that he's never won an OT game at LSU... well he finally did last night so you negatigers need to figure out what u want.

Cause I hear some of you calling for Miles to be fired, others for Crowton, some for the OL coach, and some for all the offensive coaches.

I think crowton and the OL coach need to go personally, but not Miles.

Ya'all need to have a meeting (preferrably not at a beach, you already have enough sand in your va jay jay) and figure out what it is you all want and be on the same page. you guys are sounding absolutely ridiculous. You same assholes picked LSU to go what 7-5 or 8-4 again this year? Well we went 9-3 with a chance at the capital one bowl and you are still bitchin.

STFU already please. It wasn't a pretty season, but Miles will get his team prepared for the bowl game and win big like does... and then we'll see what changes he makes in the off season.

MsGulf... I don't think very many people would spend this much time on this site in discussion about a football team, unless they were passionate about Tiger Football. I agree LSU does have some over biased, obnoxious fans that do make other fan bases judge our fan base as a whole. But it is apparent that throughout the season LSU does indeed have some issues in the coaching department. This is not JUST based on the end of the Ole Miss game, but it was magnified!
The writing has been on the wall for some of us all along. However, it is ok to have differing view and opinion of this teams direction and circumstance, but I hardly believe that anyone, that is an LSU fan, posting comments on this site was pulling for LSU to lose last night.
Losing only hurts the programs and from what I have read on tigerrant, LSU has an extremely loyal fan base that is also knowledgeable about the game of football (some more than others.)
I feel there is a difference between criticizing a poorly coached team and people wishing and hoping for hard times to fall upon this program. 9 and 3 is a good season, but we could have easily been 10 and 2 or even 11 and 1! This is just mine and a few others on this sites opinion. That’s all, an opinion!!!

Yes, I can hardly wait for a continual string of games where we lose 2-touchdown leads, show no killer instinct and have to beat unranked SEC teams with field goals in overtime.
