Mafia: when will you and people like you learn that the Transitive Property of College Football does not work???

Using your reasoning: LSU clobbered Auburn...Bama struggled to beat Auburn... see where I'm going?

with Jefferson at QB,yes. If RP was at QB I wouldn't be.We were the third place team in the SEC,because of our inexperience at QB.With the Talent RP brought to the table,it would be a disappointing season.

Ok, fair enough..

Next question... If Jefferson is the problem, will next year be better? What should our expectations be next year?

Last week was bad, but the tigers and Miles rebounded. You have to give credit when its due

you could argue that every team in AMerica was 2-3 plays away from having two more losses...Bama was a missed FG away from losing to arkansas (1)...they might have been a PP INT decent drive by LSU away from losing to LSU (2)

Actually, the "decline" you speak of was stopped this season as shown by the 5-3 conference, 3rd best in the SEC, record and current national ranking...."whether you like it or not".

Yea boy we needed a late field goal and a missed field goal to beat a less talented team. I feel better about the coaching situation already. Did anyone mention LSU blew a pretty good lead?

macatak911, why don't you les lovers than stop using the Arky-UF game to defend last night's performance?

You can't have it both ways. That is what pisses me off. More teams have dominated Arky in SEC play than have had close games.

Never have used the ARK-UF game to defend. I DONT SUBSCRIBE TO THE TRANSITIVE PROPERTY OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL.

Each game is different.

) We've played like shite all season except for one game against Auburn.

2) Needed MIRACLES to beat a couple of teams

3) Consistently give up leads and have our offense stall.

I am not for firing Miles. I am for him fixing the coaching issues within his staff. Namely firing Crowton and Studrawa. We need a coach that can actually develop a QB and and OL coach that can actually put the best players on the field and coach them up.

Plain and simple, but winning on a missed FG by the opponent against a mediocre team that Alabama and Auburn clobbered is not going to make up for all Miles and his staff's bullshite.

Exactly!

And the original poster is a fricking idiot....its attitudes like yours that will let LSU fall back to a mediocre program.

I've stated time and time again the last two years have been tough on LSU at QB.Jefferson will have a full year of SEC play under his belt.I do exspect him to be better next year for that reason. We won't know till next year.

Cant speack for MsGulf, but I am. I mean look, when looked at the schedule at the beginning of the year I thought 7-5 8-4 were my expectations. 9-3 and going to Orlando is a lot better than 7-5 and headed to Shreveport.

What were yours? National Championship?

really? less talented? not at QB, not at RB, not at OL, we're down to the 4th string RB, and their QB is much better than ours, so your statement is not true.

hell, the commentators stated when we were up by 14 that if the roles were reversed, it'd be allot harder for LSU to come back since our offense is not near as good as Arkys

Actually, I think it showed how this team and the coaches didn't give up after all the adversity throughout the week. I was pretty impressed that we came out so fired up. The players were definitely ready to play. I have criticized Miles this past week, but he showed he still had a grip on this team, which was a big question mark. I'm not saying that he is expunged from his mistakes, or that I am satisfied with his overall job, but I think this game showed alot.

ETA: I always look on the bright side of things, so what do I know.
