CBS and ESPN both have bowl projections and nobody has us in a BCS bowl.

We match up well with Arkansas!

ehhh it happens they didnt give us a chance in hell against UF or Bama. Chris Low had us losing 24-10 to UF and 20-13 to bama

auburn could lose a game and if we win out we will both be in a bcs bowl...do yall really think a #4-5 team with an 11-1 record would go to the cap one bowl and not a bcs bowl?

Arkansas's definitely got me worried with two starters out in the secondary. BTW...Is Claiborne still out? Arkansas seems like a school that should never ever beat us, like Miss. St, but they seem to get in our way a lot. Hate when something important comes down to a game with Arkansas at the end.

Mallett will be good for a couple of picks, 3-4 sacks and a fumble. Peterson will bring one the the house. The Tigers will run the ball at will against Arkansas. 34-24 LSU.

Have we run at will against anyone in two years?

Me too. But then any SEC game should be cause for concern. Not that LSU can't win, but the way we play most of this season leaves no room for really feeling confident of our ability to produce yardage and points on offense. It will take ball control offense to keep the Arky scoring machine off the field. Then there's the pesky reality of playing arch-nemsis Ole Miss this Saturday...

What games are you watching? No one mentioned last year. This year the Tigers are averaging 196 rushing yards per game against conference opponents. That and the last touchdown drive against 'Bama with zero passes says, yeah, they have run the ball at will several games this year. And Arky has a mediocre to poor defense on a given day.

Well everyone on here is talking like we've already played and beaten them and Ole Miss so I guess it evens out.

They make those picks in pre-season and pretty much stick to them. No one picked LSU to have the best D in the conference this year fwiw.

The fact is we haven't faced a pure passing QB of Mallet's caliber all season. That and Petrino seems to have Miles figured out.

Yeah, we've got a good running game, but I wouldn't exactly call us the Nebraska of old.

They change those picks in the weekly BCS analysis column they do. I don't know what made them change their pick, but last week they had us beating Arky, and this week they have us losing.
