Wouldn't you be fired for making a $12 million mistake at work?

Alleva wasting millions of dollars because of his own ego and incompetence.

Should be terminated immediately.

People have been let go of their jobs for way less serious items. If the average person lost their respective employer 12 million dollars they are more than likely pursuing legal action.

I really don't know how he still has a job. He bumbles from one disaster to the next, O's contract probably being the worst but that's not set in stone.

We as fans have a duty to call him out, and call for his firing at every opportunity. I know I am seriously reconsidering renewing my family's 5 season tickets next year if he is still anywhere near the program.

They’ve been pretty forgiving in that regard. Like the time I forgot to put the blowout preventer on Deepwater Horizon.

Not only Alleva. BOS had to approve the contract. So did King. Let's not forget TAF. You know they had a say in it since they are paying the salary.

Lots of blame to go around. Lots of people were in O's corner for reasons I can't figure out.

Mass failure at all levels.
