Would you trade Johnny Jones for Billy Kennedy?

His seat is smoking right now over on the Aggie board. I know most of you idiots will say yes, but be careful what you wish for my friends. Don't know how much talent he's bringing in, and NO, you can't have it both ways morons.

I think I would say yes. I've seen the success Kennedy has had at Southeastern, Murray St, and now A&M. It's taken some time at A&M, but he is on the right track.

Last 2 seasons he had 20 win seasons at SLU including a NCAA tourney birth. SLU hasn't had a 20 win season since that time nor have they made it to the dance.
He coached Murray St to the best record in the program's history. He brought them to the 2nd round of the NCAA tourney. This was when the 2nd round was actually the 2nd round and not the first round. His next season he took them to the NIT.
If you look at his track record at A&M he has slowly built them back up and is on the verge of back to back 20 win seasons.
I just like Kennedy's track record over JJ. We all know JJ can recruit, but lets be honest, his coaching leaves a lot to be desired. Kennedy does have ties to LA as well.

Beat me 2 it....his last few seasons at both stops before AM had those programs (SLU and murray st) running at a pretty good clip. Although it takes him a while to get his guys in and buy into his system, by year 3/4, he's winning consistently.

I knew about him at SLU because thats when I went there. He almost sprung a huge upset against Okie St in the tourney. They were tied up with 4 mins to go. I was at the game. It was pretty awesome until SLU ran out of gas.
