If you could pick one attainable coach who would your choice be?

Mine is Archie Miller....37 innovative doing more with less in a location where he has limited resources.

Is this real?

Of course. Hire him right now and let him coach out the NCAAT.

Have serious doubts Miller is attainable for LSU.

If he were, of course I'd take him. We'd be extremely fortunate to land such a hot commodity.

Why do you have doubts? If LSU would commit the money to make a real basketball team, they could divvy top 15 salary.

Why wouldn't he? He probably is making around 1.4 at a school that will always lose recruits too osu Michigan Michigan state, etc.

He has hit his ceiling at Dayton.

Absolutely. But the asking price is going to be steep. I would assume every power-conf. program that has a job opening would like to get him to be their HC. Miller knows this as well and is in a pretty good situation at Dayton. He doesn't HAVE to leave until he is ready.

If a big school gets him, they are going to pay handsomely for his services. Do you really think LSU is willing to spend 2-3 million per year to get him? Because that is what it's going to take. If it were up to the president and governor, LSU would be paying $15 an hour for their HC's

Even if he has, I'd imagine he'll bide his time until he gets a gig at a traditional basketball school.

Let's take Texas for example....commited 3 mil a year for Smart....took him two full years to get his players to buy in....now you can see them going places.

I doubt he is making 1.4 mil, but if he is, then he is already making what LSU is willing to pay for a mens basketball coach.

His wife's best friend's cousin's sister is from Baton Rouge. We might have a shot.

LSU is a sleeping giant.

JJ is the DiNardo of LSU Basketball. We need to kick him to the curb and bring in the basketball version of Saban.
