Its not a gotcha. I know its time for a new head coach. Im asking if the bew head coach was guaranteed to have the same win loss record as the last 11 years would you sign up for it? I onow mIles needs to go

I think I would take it because we would get a national championship out of it.

ell then youte stupid. You cant tell me the difference between a man, gap, or zone blocking scheme. You never actually talk football. If you wouldnt sign up for one of the best 11 year stretches in lsu football then youre proving your ignorance. Let it go. Jj was better than Lee.

LOL.

Lot of pent up anger there boy.

guess I don't analyze this stuff that closely. I just want these teams to perform to a level they're capable of. I want these young men to perform as well at LSU as many of them eventually do at the NFL level. I want them to play with a sense of urgency......something that was sorely lacking last night on the final drive.

I agree with that. Its just telling that people are acting like our last 11 years have been crap when its clearly been the best run in lsu history.
I agree we couldve been better woth abetter game day coach. Im just talking wins and losses. Not the way we win or lose.

You do realize that Saban's tenure lost more games than miles' last 5 years right? Before mile got here we had 1 top 5 finish in over 2 decades.

Because building something is different than getting a skyscraper

We won the same number of SEC championships and National championships in those 5 years than we have in the past 11 too....

You do realize Saban inherited shite and he had to rebuild while Miles was handed the keys to the kingdom?

Why are you even asking this question? You are railing against people who disagree with you.

This is only a way for you to continue to love les. The thing you have going for him is weird

Maintaining a powerhouse is far harder than building one. Thats common knowledge.
What harder? 3 great recruiting classes or 8 great recruiting classes?

Winning 13 game once or winning 10 over a decade.

Because Miles didnt coach in a sec where 3 losses wins the west. Its amazing how a 3 loss sec title is touted and a 2 loss NC is crap.
Saban never once faced a sec program that even played in NC game. The 2nd place west team in 2001 was 7-5.

Saban was handed a Pinto... Miles was handed a Ferrari... to compare these two coaches, in any other manner of speaking, is ludicrous...

i credit Miles with maintaining what he was given for a while... but it became painfully apparent over 4 years ago that our winning wasn't because of him, it was in spite of him....

it utterly saddens me that some of you are so scared to turn to the page because you can't see what's in the next chapter.... that's a pretty pathetic way to go about life...

Well that is just awful logic.

What is harder, recruiting players to a 3-8 team or one a year removed from a national title?

You phrase your questions to fit your answer. It is idiotic.

Pretty hypocritical of you. Discrediting Saban's SEC championship while not applying the same to Miles.

Because we knocked them out in the 2001 SEC championship

But you're right, Saban never had to coach against Saban

What are you laughing at? The last 11 years have given us more top 5 finishes than saban, mac, and Dietzel combined.
Its given us 6 top 10 finishes.
Its given us 2 of our 4 national title game appearances.

Stats without context are for shallow thinkers.

Yep.

Hell. He's confused being critical of Les with thinking there was no good on any of his seasons.

The dude has literally conflated LSU football and Les Miles to be one in the same.

Obviously no one thinks all eleven seasons we crap but there have been signs of Let's shortcomings from the word go.

But hell. It's hard for a season to be crap when you are fielding DRAMATICALLY better players in at least 8 games every season

Please explain how the best tenure in lsu history is out of context. Keep trying to diminish the last 11 years like they havent been great.
