Lol what? The expectations are high because Les continued to win. The roster is talented because Les was still recruiting at a high level right up to the day he was fired.

It's ok to be adults now. Les was rightfully let go, but it's time to stop pretending his time here was anything but great and on the GOAT status for LSU.

Alleva is a joke of an ad and miles is loyal to a fault.
Both would be(alleva already is) a failure

I'm so sick of all of these Les Miles as AD threads. The guy could not run a football team! But some of you clowns think somehow he can run an entire athletic program. He has zero experience as an athletic director, yet you want him to replace Aleva while at the time bashing Aleva for not hiring an established head coach. The hypocrisy of this board is not even close to funny sometimes. frick off.

The "Vice-Chancellor" and the myriad of Asst AD Yes Men need to be shown the door. The Athletic Dept is in dire need of a reset.

I know y'all hate Saban but he was interviewed for a book about Skip and he said Skip was the best and Saban thought that ex coaches who won Championships were the best ADs.

So Les

So having the most successful tenure in lsu history means Miles couldnt run a football program? He has been a 2 p5 programs and been better than his predecessor at both of them.

Les ... at AD?

Please for the love of God will people stop floating this shite? Les Miles would be a TERRIBLE athletic director. He would actually be worse than Alleva, which is saying something. I would rather we gave Alleva a lifetime contract than hire Les Miles as AD. At least Alleva has shown that he can follow orders from his boss. Unfortunately, his boss is as bad as he is, so the result is still bad, but with Miles, there'd be no way to fix his screw-ups.

Yeah, you're right. A 114-34 win/loss record sucks.

The guy posts a .770 winning percentage and has to play the national championship winning team 8 times and the runner-up once during his time at LSU, yet you want to claim he can't run a football team.

Good golly there are some dense motherfrickers on the rant, and you seem to want to stake your claim to being #1 on that list.

Les had his faults, as all coaches do, but he did a fine job of running the football team while he was here.

I'm convinced as well. They hate the guy so bad they can't see straight. Although I'm also convinced that a lot of them are just young pups that have only experienced the good times at LSU and think every year should be championship winning seasons.
