FSU losing the ACC CG would also help.

i agree we SHOULD jump ND if they lose, but will voters (who make up 2/3 of the bcs) put a 2 loss LSU above a 1 loss darling ND? I doubt they do primarily because they at least have an argument that a 1 loss team should stay above LSU, and voters are not about to pass on the resurgence of their beloved irish to national prominence.

Yes. Absolutely.

Those teams can't afford any loss.

The BCS will push LSU ahead of ND. I guarantee that.

If they lose to WF, yes. If they lose a close one at USCw, no (otherwise, yes).

Yes, as long as that assured us #4....Of course if it didn't assure us #4, then it opens up another can of worms by sending the ACC winner to Orange and expanding the BCS at-large pool to include Florida State.

I know it's been said, but the computers HATE FSU. Deservedly so because the ACC is all kinds of awful.

We'd be ahead of FSU

The ACC is not sending two teams to the BCS. Not going to happen.

Yeah, I agree.....FSU beating Florida and then losing the ACCCG is a good thing for LSU.

I don't think it's "necessary" for FSU to lose the ACCCG to get LSU into the BCS (LSU may still be ahead of FSU even if they win the ACCCG), but it certainly would help LSU get to #4 for FSU to be out of the picture after they knock off Florida.

Its' certainly possible, but doubtful given FSU's woeful computer rankings. Florida will help that, but probably not enough to vault them all the way to 4.

IMO, if Florida and Notre Dame lose, LSU will be #4 in the final BCS standings.

This is correct.

It's too bad Fl. State couldn't have lost to VTECH last Thursday. Vtech could have easily won that game at the end but it didn't happen.
