i would hate to see an arm like JL get wasted away on the bench. He could be a high draft pick if he gets playing time under the right system.

Miles needs to continue to give JL some game reps so he'll stay. The kid has earned playing time.

I hope not.

Once he learns how to read defenses (and he will, he only played 2 yrs as a QB in HS), he will gonna be a bad-arse.

I honestly don't see him staying at LSU after this year either.

Best of luck to wherever he goes. JL has the NFL arm. He just needs more playing time. See Matt. Stafford's FR stats at UGA and Troy Aikman's stats in the NFL in his rookie year with the Dlass Cowboys.

He would be draft eligible this year, but he wouldn't be drafted.

Same thing was said about Jamarcus and it just never clicked. How can you be so sure that JL will, undoubtedly, have the light come on? What has he done to make you believe that? Just curious.

Jarmarcus and Lee are in different ballparks from a talent perspective.

Lee has a quicker release and better touch. Obviously JR has more arm.

I wish he could transfer right now, and play for Bama next week. That way, our piss poor offense wouldn't have to score points as we'd probably be up 21-0 at the end of the first half from pick 6's alone.

2006 - 232-342 (67.8% - 6th best), 3129 Yards (13th best), 28 TDs (11th), 8 INTs, 167.03 rating (3rd Best), 1st Team ALL-SEC, Manning Award

And many of those rankings are skewed by midmajor QBs (ie. Graham Harrell and Colt Brennan)

I'd think JL would transfer to a Div II so he could play right away.

He should tranfer to a D-II school and play two years. Then go to draft

He took all the lumps last year and doesn't even get a shot to play in the games unless it is very late and out of hand. Even when JJ is struggling

If he transfers to a D-1 school after this year, won't he have to sit out a year, or burn a year of eligibility? That gives him exactly one year to look good for the pros!

JJ's "struggles" this year are nothing compared to what Lee did last year. I am still shocked that so much of the fanbase wants to bench a QB with a 64% completion rate and almost 3:1 TD/Int ratio for a guy who is 5 for 8 on the season.

Seriously, he is for 5/8. Reading some of the posts on here, you would think he has passed for 250 yards and had 3 touchdowns in the past few games.

ETA: I agree with KCMO that Lee's best chance is to go somewhere like McNeese or Stephen F. Austin and play two years. There's probably no chance Lee would transfer to a D-1 school and try to pull the Sam Keller option.

I dont know what it is, but I got a feeling he may play next week (JJ gets smashed by Cody)and pull out a upset...(I know, sounds crazy)

Dont get me wrong, dont want to see anyone get hurt, but I think he deserves to play somehow, dont know how, but somehow
