Yall are retarded. LSU would have run the rock down their throats. Saban was out coached. He's a good coach but not great against equal talent, or close to equal talent. The NFL made him quit for a reason. He can cheat in college and has the refs. Wake up pansies.

LSU would have won by 10 points. We would run at them again and again and they would break. We would dominate the time of possession.

We had a nice bowl win, but we only beat Iowa by 7 and Hill ran for 216.

Considering OU has a worse rush defense than Iowa, I'm not really sure you're making much of a point.

LSU wouldn't fare well against either of these teams, with or without Mett.
OU and BS had a message to send and maybe a score to settle with NS.
Bama lost confidence on Defense somewhere in the AU game, didn't return last night.

IMO, Bama was sluggish and didn't want to be there... Kinda like when they played Utah a few years ago.

I didn't see that. I saw them come out and jump on OU for an early lead. I saw them jumping up and down on the sidelines early in the 2nd half when they got two 3-and-outs and scored. I saw them talking trash with the OU offense, etc. OU is not Utah. Bama wanted to be in the NC, but since they couldn't, they were talking about how they could still be considered the best team with a great performance against OU (one of the historic powers of college football). I think they would've been more hyped for an NC - sure. But that's anyone.

The game sort of turned on that Yeldon fumble and when OU jumped the route on the following possession to pick the pass. Bama still had 500+ yards of offense, but OU forced turnovers that AJ doesn't usually have by being extremely aggressive.

Yeah, playing in the Big 10. Ok, plug in Arkansas instead since that was our second-to-last game and Hill ran for 145 and we needed a miracle at the end to win it at home.

I think we could've run a lot on them too, but that team I saw last night was flat-out aggressive on both sides of the ball and were executing at a high level on offense.

Sure they were, but we've shown we can stop teams Bama fails to before. I'd be worried about our production at QB, but there's no reason to think we'd have no shot at beating that team.

No chance with out Mett. Not knocking Jennings, but he is to young. I was still real proud of the LSU defense against Iowa. Best they have played this season.

From what I saw throwing some screens with play action and a few draws, Hill could do some serious damage.

Has literally been Saban's Achilles heel, in terms of his defense, forever. Yet, hardly anyone seems to completely design game plans around doing this against him.

Oh, I'm not saying at all that we'd have no shot. And you're right, we do match up better against that style of offense. I just think some people are downplaying how well OU executed and how aggressive they were. We handled aTm, but their D was awful and had zero pass rush. I think the way they were blitzing would have caused us issues. You rarely see AJ get hit like he did last night and make those mistakes. OU's QB looked fearless last night (even after times when he got popped).

But anyway, we beat them in the Dome already for the whole thing, so been there done that!

Crazy people, it was a terrific game plan and executed about as good as you could expect non professionals to do it. OU would have been tough for anyone to beat last night, but I would still like our chances

Would need Mett and then it would be close.

I am not sure. We could have just run it down their throat. We were able to do that against Iowa who had very good lbers.

Defensively we could have matched up well I think too. This year we had difficulty with teams power running and I did not see that from OU last night.

Their pressure would have eaten LSU alive. OU's quarterback was outstanding. On many of the deep balls he threw there was nothing the defender could do. It was OU's night.

How in the hell would you guys have known they they would have played the same? Playing against BAMA and playing against lsu, are two different things in the media's eyes and the CFB world in general. It's like I've been saying, would they have really been inspired if they played a 10-2 LSU?

Great question. I enjoyed reading the responses. Here is my take.

Both teams came out fired up but, make no mistake, Saban was outcoached.

Why did they continue to try to pass and run Yeldon when Henry was killing them? Arrogance, maybe?

Who knows which LSU team would have shown up but the Tigers would have a better game plan. They had no choice but to establish the run and stay with it. Hill would have eventually worn out that undersized OU defense. LSU's first drive against Iowa was all run plays, so there would have probably had fewer turnovers. The interceptions and Yeldon's unexplainable futility kept OU Fired up and drained the will of Bama.

LSU would have had a better chance than Bama to win that game.

There is something to what you're saying, but they would have still been fired up pretty good (as much as playing Bama...I don't know). We know Stoops would have wanted to kill LSU (see NC loss and losses to Les at Okie State). Also, OU would have heard the same thing about how they would get killed by the SEC and you know our fans would constantly talk about blowing their sorry Big 12 azzes out right up until game time until they couldn't take any more.

With Mett it's close but we lose by 7-10 b/c D couldn't hold up. With AJ, we lose by 20. You cannot beat good teams being one dimensional.
