Would losing this NC be easier to accept if LSU hadn't made sooooo many mistakes?

Would be easier if it wasn't to the most obnoxious hand motion in sports

Yes. A loss is much easier to take when you don't help the other team so much.

Yes. I thinks any loss is easier to swallow if feel like you played your best game against the opponents best game and just didn't come out on top.

Absolutely. Had we played two clean games and they wouldve just beaten us, it would be much easier to swallow.

Yeah because then we would have won.

No. it hurts much more when you do everything right, play like a champ, and still come up short. This team didn't do enough to be a champ. Great players, great season, just didn't do enough at the end

without the mistakes we likely aren't in this spot. but yes, it would be easier to accept if they didn't beat themselves and just flat out got beat

Mistakes happen. It's a part of sports but there are some mistakes that are so basic they are inexcusable.

It sucks that we lost, but I'm willing to give them a pass on the mistakes part. The road that LSU needed to climb to get to the championship series was almost a complete championship in itself.

most definitely. Errors in early innings against good pitching is like cutting your own hamstring AND raising the hurdles by 6" before the race begins.

This team played A LOT of mistake-prone baseball during these playoffs. I did NOT see a lot of disciplined, crisp and sharp baseball from this team during these playoffs.

They are amateurs and their play often clearly demonstrated that fact. Most of them are not ready to start playing on an MLB team right now.

It's tough to say for me. When looking back at everything that went wrong, we certainly didn't deserve to win compared to how clean Florida's play was.

However, it certainly stings that, despite all the mistakes, both games were still there for the taking in the later innings. It was like death by a thousand cuts.

This does sting. They didn't play well the first two games, still made it to the championship. Stings knowing that this team can and has played better baseball.

Playing this poorly in the championship series could cast a pall over what was a successful season up to that point.

But really they overachieved to be there.

No.
Should have won both games, but got to hand it to UF, they played smart ball and won.
winning isn't everything, but losing sucks.

The only thing making it easier is Phil jackson and the Knicks taking over the media today. I want to put this shite behind and move on.
