Would Lamar Jackson be used as an athlete at LSU?

Would Jackson be used similar to how we used Russell Shepard? What does the rant say?

Probably never throw a pass.

Absolutely wouldn't be a qb or worth a frick here

Probably would have been moved to corner.

These questions start to get stupid.
Lots of qbs switched positions in college and did fine. Including at LSU.
If the coaches felt he could play qb and make the throws, he would play qb.
Shepard didn't fit the mold of an every down runner and just wasn't that great at wr. At least not compared to the others on the team that played ahead of him.
Just a note, I didn't follow this guys recruiting or even hear of him until this season. So I don't know what his expectations were coming out of HS.
The coaches kept RP at qb. So I don't get this stuff with Shepard.

I wish everyone would stop drooling on his dick. He's a great athlete who is in a system ran by a competent HC. We've seen this before with Urban Meyer, Art Briles, and spread system QBs. It's the system, not the player...
That's not to take anything away from the player... It's to point out the difference in system and coaching. We simply will never see a QB do those things in a LM offense.

Coaching has nothing to do with athleticism you idiot. Coaching puts 63 points on the board because they never take the foot off the throttle. The kid had 5 touchdowns.
P.S.
You're anot idiot

He'd have a shot at playing in the NFL if he came to LSU and played DB

We'd probably recruit him as a TE or some shite

First post already fricking with the fan base. Nice

I remember Russell Shepard's last game in TS. During warm ups, he caught a pass in the middle of the end zone and threw the ball to 15 rows from the top of the student section
If you think he was utilized at LSU, you're wrong

He'd probably get the Jordan Jefferson playbook

Would probably be a WR or a DB.
In other words, he'd almost be a lock to be prepared for a career in the NFL at those positions.

I doubt he would be used as a TE if he was at LSU, and I know you're joking, at least I hope you're joking.
I find it funny that a lot of people come on here and pitch Miles shite for putting players in the wrong position and not utilizing the players strength. But during the game between Louisville and FSU the other day, the announcers made a comment that Fisher wanted to recruit that kid but not as a QB.
Imagine that. Fisher is a hero to a lot of the posters here and he would have done the exact same thing that Miles gets blasted for.
