Just curious. That's 3 days rest and he went over 100 pitches today.

Yes. No doubt he would go out and throw 4 or 5

Idk, last game of the year. I don't think he'd be able to go 7 innings again but I can't see him not on the mound for the winner take all game

Faedo will be begging to if it goes to a game 3. Will be tough for a coach to say no.

Faedo was the Tigers 1st pick(18), he is looking at $6,520,100 just to sign his name.

No one is going to let him start a game on 3 days rest after throwing 115 pitches.
Same reason I don't see Lange start's before Wednesday.

Exactly.

Would be irresponsible for either.

He has no care for their arms, and Faedo is a competitor , and like Alex Lange, would want to be on the bump if it came down to it , even being a day shy of the rest he would like to have.

While it's not the norm, it would not be unusual in a championship game to pitch a guy on three days rest. Everyone is different, there is no magic book that says everyone needs four full days rest.

There is some increased risk of injury but I can't remember a pitcher blowing out his arm that way. Of course there is also the risk the pitcher might be Not as sharp.

I could see Gilbert pitching a few innings Wednesday as well, he does have an extra five hours or so rest. I doubt either would start.

Lange will be chomping at the bit to go Tuesday. I assume they give him Tuesday to rest, but if we lose Monday and he us recovers and strong enough, I wouldn't rule it out.
