Etling is plenty dual threat - he is a passer first who can run when needed. That is what LSU needs. A distributor who can make plays when called

Make it stop

Hmmm... Give me the two dual threat guys currently on the roster with 3 state championships between them as opposed to...

A guy who threw for a bunch yards in a system that threw the ball nearly 50 times per game vs suspect competition, who has never won a championship.

I want winners

boring. it puts way too much emphasis on one player. it's like high school. but it is what it is. UH or Louisville would be shite w/o their dual threat guy. it appears that college football does not have the personnel or coaching on defense to

BORING???? I was in tiger stadium vs South Carolina 2015. That was boring. Our offense vs Bama 2015-16 was boring. Even the power spread involves more people in the offense than our pro style. You obviously don't watch Clemson and Ohio state.

LSU needs to run the spread offense sorry, this line up run the ball out of the I formation is tired.Look around the college football landscape it's changing the 70's 80's 90's is over.

I would have been very lukewarm on him if that was the case. The reason a lot of people were excited to run the last coach out of town was because we were finally using a QB to throw the ball and showing different wrinkles on offense.

Yet you probably wanted Herman who runs power spread, and Jimbo who runs more pro-style but has DT Qbs
If you think the offense we run now can beat Bama and win a NC you don't know football

I wonder how much of this kind of crap is because so many are against dual threat because that will generally mean a black QB? LOL
