Not going to happen. I am 99.99% positive. Yes I would be pissed, along with 90000 others.

LSU FOOTBALL GAME STILL SLATED FOR 4 P.M. BATON ROUGE – There has been no change in the scheduled start time for LSU’s season opening football game against Appalachian State on Saturday at this time. The game is still slated to kickoff at 4 p.m. LSU officials, in cooperation with state and local agencies, continue to monitor the progress of Tropical Storm Gustav. LSU will continue to update fans on any changes via the news media and LSUsports.net should conditions warrant it.

At 1:19. The storm really hasn't done much since then.

It would probably be more comfortable than playing at 4. Less sunshine in your face too. Cooler morning tailgating weather as well.

I really think that for August, NOON > 4 PM

A 4 PM game really is probably the very worst time you could possibly start the game. Maaaybe 3:37 P.M. if you want to be technical, but basically, 4 PM is about as bad as it gets. This is like two-a-days for fans.

Wasn't going to post it but I heard the same thing from a friend who is one of the medical volunteers at the games. They told him to be prepared for a possible early KO. As was said earlier, better than a full blown cancellation.
