Little Ball of Hate isn't even original. It was widely used to describe Pat Verbeek back in 1999 when the Stars won the Stanley Cup.

Hes probably a nice guy, but the way he plays is too tanatious for words. LIttle Ball of Hate makes me laugh, it's a term of endearment. The guy is our new favorite on TD.com

2009 it was Chad Jones
2010 we all had Patrick as our favorite
2011 the year of the Tryannasorous Rex aka LBH
