Williams hasn't looked real good and if LF is out why not.

Donte Jackson on the offensive side of the ball would be scary in situations.

Edited to say: Williams has not played a lot but the few times he did get the ball he did not do much and it looks like he is rounded to short yardage situational carries from the Full Back position.

Williams has carried the ball 4 times, one of which was out of the FB position which was stuffed immediately.

That is one thing, that I will not miss about Les. When he is up big,,,,he is conservative and doesn't let the young guys go out and make plays. They want to score to...Lets go Coach O.

Regardless he shouldn't play. We have enough talent at the RB position to win this game without him.

Brossette really is good and the few carries he has had were very good. I think he could come in and definitely fill the gap with Guice/Williams if LF7 is out. However, they could for a big back consider running Ducre, or even Devin White. Right now he is playing limited amount at Middle LB, and they would have a few plays he could definitely run.

But wanting to see Devin White run the ball is a day dream I have because he has 4.5 speed is 6'1" tall and weighs 260 lbs. Can you say wearing defenders on the hood

Either way, I would not want to be Mizzou this week at Death Valley where the real Tigers play...

That screen pass Williams caught out of the backfield was pretty sweet. He does well when he has the opportunity

IMO Williams is our best short yardage back.

LF is an absolutely transcendent RB, but give me Williams when I need 1-2yds.

If LF7 is o0t, here is the order:

1) Guice
2) Williams
3) Ducre
4) Brossette

(of course JD Moore and Mouton carries, as well)

I was hoping for Nick to score against Jacksonville State. It would have been nice after his injury last year. We just ran out the clock.

I think you will see a lot of young talented players that just sat on the bench bizarringly under Miles start playing now. Players like not only Brossette, but Ducre, TE Jacory Washington, WR's Ferguson, Dee Anderson, Drake Davis. And why not??

They are talented and would be starting at other schools, but under Les Miles and his bizarre ways of running things these kids would just rot on the bench. That would frustrate anyone because young players want to play. I'll think you'll see these kids coming in to relieve starters at certain points in the game to get experience and show what they got. It's about time!
