Yes, Van definitely needs to go now. He has squandered too much talent--yes, they are underachievers, but mediocrity from the coaching staff should not be accepted. I think Van would later realize it was a blessing in disguise--he can warm up that rocking chair a little sooner! No Nicholls staffers either!

The year with big syl, Augustus and Tamika Johnson, don't know how we lost that one. That was like Dale losing with Stanley, shaquille and Chris Jackson.

If you want a Women's National Champion in basketball within 5 years, throw the bank at Kim Mulkey of Baylor. If you just want to play around and settle for mediocrodity, go hire anyone else. Get serious...or forget it.

That's stupid. There are many great coaches not named Kim Mulkey and more importantly they won't cost over 1 million dollars.

Sandra Rushing from Delta State. She has a pretty impressive record at Delta and we could probably get her for less than Van. She also is use to recruiting in this area. Imagine what she could do if she could recruit for Div. 1.

Jeff Walz and Matthew Mitchell are good names, but I have a feeling LSU will hire a female for their next coach.

This!!!! Is who gets my vote. She also Makes only about $300K and with Alleva's ACC ties it might could happen!!! For about $450-500K. She is a better coach than Van and is Nationally respected and we would be saving about $200-250K a year. Get on the phone Joe!!!

I wanted her when Van was hired but now her son is sick she probably won't be going anywhere.

You're absolutely crazy if you think that Brenda Freese is comin' here for $400k! She's making more than that NOW at Maryland. Any coach that's been to a final four or NCAA championship, is not coming here for anything less than what Van is making right now.............you can bank on that.
