With the big slump that Jordan twins are mired in, put Wofford in left and Romero at DH. And Geaux win! We can!

We have as good a shot with Trey Dawson at DH as we do Romero. This is sarcasm. I'm not sure what the fix is but I know that the Jordan Twins need to ride some pine

Why your and CPM's infatuation with Brody Wofford??? Has he delivered at the plate at any time this season???

Really? So what kind of slump of the Jordan twins in dipshit since you know so much? Put it this way, something has to be shaken up because I have zero confidence right now in the Jordan twins when they come to the plate.

He kinda looks the part and his approach at the plate seems good.... But you're right the results are not good.

Not running out a pop up and getting tagged out when they drop it is not a thing you reward with a start the next day.

Well he did look pretty good when CPM gave him a shot earlier in the season. It didn't hold up but he sure did provide a spark at that time when it was needed. I personally like his swing. He gave that ball a pretty good ride last night to left center.

I wonder how Ducote was a better hitter than Freeman at Delgado and we never saw him.

At this point I am fine with allowing the pitchers hit for themselves and also having the previous night's pitcher (Lange in this case) be the DH for the next game.

I never said that the Jordan twins were lighting it up... But the OP was trying to change a flat tire and put a new one on that was flat too

Look I get it but sometimes the smallest of changes provide a spark. Who knows!

Wofford hasnt done anything all year to warrant a shot at this point in the season.

IMO CC is pitching a righty tonight, if we sit the
Jordan twins for this game put Breaux in left and DH Wofford which gives you two more left handed hitters in the line up. Another option is Breaux and DH Romero. I think the way Pawl thinks the base running mistake by Romero at the end of the game may keep him out of this game 2, unless he's used as a pinch hitter at some point. The hitting is weak or inconsistent in between Diechman and Freeman. I can see a move there to try and create a spark.

Of course, but Romero doesn't deserve a start with that piss-poor effort last night

Protecting our hot four hole hitter with Romero behind him is the right decision. He's had half the at bats and still second in RBI's and HRS. Bottom line.
His stats alone make pitchers and their coaches butt get tight. In other words, things sometimes happen without him actually getting a hit. Jordan twins total HRs are less than Romero's, coaches have no problem walking the batter in front of them.

Then you put him at DH for Bryce, not Wofford. Wofford hasn't proven anything this year, at least Romero has the potential to have a big game.

How about Breaux in left and Romero at DH? Can't get any worse.

Beau made some good contact last night. Deep line drives that couldn't find the ground.

As someone already mentioned, Romero is 2-23 lately. Bryce Jordan has the highest OBP on the team. Neither of them have a prayer at hitting a breaking ball. There is no easy answer here.

I thibk we should slide Pap to the 5 hole to help protect Deichman. Fill in whoever at 6-7, then go with Reid, Freeman in the 8-9. Reid gets on base very well too, so getting him in front of Freeman and the top limits the holes to just 6-7.
