They have a really good passing game. They just ran into the BuzzSaw that is LSU.

absolutely.....because throwing the ball 62 times is the way to go. Sumlin used to believe in that philosophy and was thought to be the next great coach........he's done outstanding at A&M...LOL

The weather allowed them to take advantage of our defense playing cautiously in coverage to avoid giving up big plays. They were about what we expected. Nothing special.

As will the officials' refusal to call their O-line for holding most of the night.

Don't think he wanted to throw it 62 times
We sort of made them do it

Glad we played them on a wet field, might have been tougher to stop them on a dry field

I expected us to run the ball on them, we are LSU and that is what we do

WKU kinda reminds me of the earlier Baylor, and TCU's. Not much on defense, and with a little more talent can play with anyone. It just always surprises me that these teams with a wide open air it out offences never seem to develope a decent defense.

I'm sure the rain and wet field slowed LF down a bit as well-can't cut as well and less traction.

Try A&M in 2012, the first year under Sumlin. This team led by Johnny Football was complete.

Yeah, I think they had like 4 or 5 one-handed catches.
