You do realize it is also possible if Bama loses to Tennessee, right? This is, of course, assuming LSU wins out.
It's not impossible, but very little makes most believe this team will survive both Bama and A&M. The defense is just epically bad in comparison to past years.

I don't understand why some fans just write this off.
It is extremely possible. LSU wins out, Auburn wins all except for Georgia. That's not a complicated scenario and more surprising things happened last week.

Not negative. Just looking at reality. LSU would be hard-pressed to win out the way they have been playing. Bama is hitting its stride as of late. the one thing that could help LSU against Bama is the fact they also have a bye week before the game and it could take away some MOJO they have developed. then again Bama Destroyed ARKY by pounding the ball with 352 yds rushing,If that happens against LSU??? Actually, I think we'd have a better shot at beating Alabama if they DO rush the ball a lot.
But, getting back to the point.
Sure, it's not PROBABLE that we'll win out the rest of the way. But, it's most definitely POSSIBLE. In fact, if I remember correctly we had the same kind of scenario in 2001. I don't think that it's far fetched that Auburn could lose to Georgia (with Gurley back) and beat Alabama at BDS. That's not far fetched at all.
But, the bottom line is that LSU doesn't control it's own destiny, and THAT is the most frustrating part in all of this.
But, getting back to the point.

I would like to be an optimist but with Less and 3rd & Chavis in action, hope left me after we were unprepared for a depleted Ole Miss and continue to implement 3rd and Chavis.
