With our depth, talent at DB, we definitely will load the box vs. Oregon...

Our defensive plan versus Oregon. We will definitely invite them to pass the ball. We will probably send a lot of run blitzes and crowd the LOS. Oregon wants to run the ball more than it wants to pass. They lost their best wr and will be breaking in a lot of new ones. They replace most of their starting OL as well. I expect a lot of man and zone blitzing with 7 or 8 men in the box.

I disagree, because Oregon's offensive gameplan scored quickly by hitting a couple runs and then exploiting the aggressive reaction with a pass, usually an easier pass to the seem route or mid ranged post... wr would be wide open and trot for 60 yards down field.

I promise you Oregon is a run team that spreads you out. They can put up big passing yards because of playaction and screens but their bread and butter is the zone runs. That's why James had like 1600 yards rushing. We got to stop their running attack. If we were playing Leach's Texas Tech, their offense is predicated on the passing game.

I think we'll only load the box if LSU has no confidence in their LBs and middle of the defense.
