You're one of the idiots I was referring to in my earlier post to atltiger6487.

SOS unless QB has greatly improved, another 8&5.

Yep another 8-5 possibly 9-3 but I don't see us getting to 10 wins. With our schedule, big question marks at QB, the defense with a new DC, thin on the DL which is where you win games in the trenches. We are going to be playing Les Miles football, run the football 75% of the time and keep the game close and some of those games we will lose late because of our defense. Chablis 2.0. I mean do you really have optimism in brandon Harris winning the game for us?

Perhaps we are not getting the love from the press because, from an in-biased POV, it's the SOS with LSU. No QB and weak on the DL.

Why do so many of us have such high expectations for this year?

very simple. It is not just how good you think you will be but how good the competition will be too. Last season was a rebuilding year so we are looking to turn up performance a couple of notches. Many of our close divisional competition are in a rebuilding year this year so we should expect big improvement. The national media is mostly just looking at last season trends right now.

Bama, Aub, Fla, and Ole Miss are all in a QB change this year and most lost their premier RB's and WR's. MSU lost about 70% of their starters. aTm is re-tooling everything. Arky is like us and just continuing reps with most of last yrs team...

Our biggie right now is Harris moving ahead of AJ puts us in a QB change yr too but he has a lot of talent around him. Hell, he even has lineman that can call the plays in the huddle if he screws the signals up again...

Key is Time of Possession. Drastically cut the three and outs so Defense will not be as vulnerable.

Improvement is not certain as long as Miles is leading. Miles coaching and no QB are the toughest oppoinit we have to battle.

Do you consider Las Vegas national? Because when I was there recently they are currently in the top 10 of team odds to win the NC. If you listen to individual hacks, that's on you. Vegas, in general, doesn't usually just throw out numbers without reason.

We have no D line. Certainly no 4-5-6 deep rotation. And few LBs. OFFENCE will be better...but....It's going to be a long season

He actually forgot Mills and White...who will both go in at least the 2nd round, if not the first. Adams is the next superstar DB...Dural is likely 2nd round. Dupre will be first round before said and done. LF you never know....just because rb's are not drafted as highly anymore...but certainly he is a top talent. Godchaux started as a TF...I'd say he has some upside. Beckwith with a good year will go first round....if not is likely second round....OL guys at worst likely 2nd rounders. We are also forgetting Tolliver...and I guarantee you that a DE will emerge.

This is a thread that draws fake lsu fans and negatigers....but anyone who doesn't think LSU will be improved this year, possibly significantly, is just trying to be an arse. They return 15 starters, and have some tremendous talent that was only freshmen last year. It is not possible that QB could be any worse...and with the same qb play, LSU will be better than last year...and the D will be 2011 like with Adams emerging as the playmaker. Last year, LSU was a count hair away from 10 wins, with a give away loss to Bama, and the last second loss to Notre Dame. A couple games into the season this year all these negatigers are going to be saying "I knew" they were going to be good. I always love people like the "mick".......saying things like I called that way back.......LOL...it sends the message that you are 15 years old....

Good god, we return to starters at DT who were both young last year and came on strong. Think you can be more of an idiot in that statement?

but very good....and watch for Voorhies to break out. Been hearing great things about him, and he is simply too good to keep off the field....back to back Gatorade player of the year in Mississippi.

OMG......you are either from Alabama, or 12 years old...

LSU is currently in the top 10 odds wise in Vegas to win the NC. They return 15 starters, many of which were just learning how to play as freshmen last year.....for a team that won 8 games....lol...yes, you are one of the smart ones on here it is obvious.

I always wonder what people like you look like...one of three things...either some dork azz looking mf....an alter...or a kid about 13-15 years old.

You mean Les Miles, the coach that has won 3 Western Division championships, 2 SEC Championships, and played in more national title games than any other coach in LSU's history....while having like the greatest regular season ever in 2011...while averaging over 10 wins a year for a complete decade.

All I can say is good god if you aren't an alter....

You're horrible.

You can't say anything is obvious at this point.

LSU finally returns a team without tons of guys leaving on either side of the ball. LSU has one of the top offensive lines heading into this season and a wealth of talent at the skill positions.. The defense less by Beckwith and Adams has so much talent surrounding it. Both quarterbacks have improved. Not sure what you watched.. And why are you giving up on a talent like Harris after one true freshman season in which he actually showed flashes of elite talent. He lead LSU to like ten straight TDs. Why give up on him just because of one bad first road start? It hasn't even been a year yet.. Mett went to Georgia, then community college, then LSU where he couldn't even beat out Jefferdon (according to Miles) does that mean he wouldn't be better?? Mett finally became a starter as a Junior and LSU's offense was pretty abysmal that season.. Finally everyone on offense returned and Mett as a SENIOR finally lit it up..

So your argument of him not beating out Jennings is so ridiculous and means nothing. True freshman do not start right away in the SEC. Manziel and Winston were both redshirt with a year in their systems.. They couldn't even start as a true Freshman. Let's just let things play out.

LSU has incredible talent all around.
