I hate Bama, but I attended the ND game yesterday. Heard an awful lot of talking down "the lucky SEC" while they beat up on one of the worst college football teams I've ever seen. However, I also heard some of them say they were only hoping for either KState or Oregon to lose, not both.

Why do people just assume bama beats UGA. This is ridiculous. UGA can play and exploit bamas overrated secondary.

You have no room to talk about secondaries after your performance AT HOME against Ole Miss. I know the past several matchups in Death Valley have been close, but giving up 35 points is plain inexcusable.
The only teams to give up more than that were Central Arkansas, Tulane, and Auburn. Both Ole Miss and LSU left points on the field, so the score could have been higher for both. You should be embarrassed. Okay, you gave up considerable yardage, that's okay. LSU plays that way against spread offenses, but can usually keep the score decent (Oregon, West Virginia, Texas A&M). Rant.

I don't get the hate for the Irish considering south Louisiana is predominantly catholic. It's really weird.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. ND and Bama aren't in any championship game, yet. Chances look good for ND, but Bama beating Georgia isn't any slam dunk.

Not really....why watch the two media darlings get slobbered over by their adoring press? Neither deserves to be there IMO.

I agree as well. But to answer the op's question, I would cheer for the Irish.

I won't cheer for either. I hate to say it but Bama would eat ND alive, should ND get past USC with a win.

We didn't play our best game, I'll agree, however we did win and we played an SEC team.

What happened to your team, at home, against the juggernaut that is Wofford?

You want to go there?

I don't get this at all. I don't hate any team enough to keep from watching a game, especially a BCS bowl.

For me, the Championship IS the SEC CG. The last time an SEC team went to the NCG and lost (not counting last year since it was SEC vs. SEC) was in 1995 when Florida lost to Nebraska. Since then SEC is 9-0 in NCG appearances.

I guess I understand those who want to pull for ND if you like going for the underdog. That being said: Auburn over Bama, Fla. St. over Florida, Texas over K. St., Oregon St. over Oregon, so LSU can play in the SEC CG, win, and have a good chance of playing in the NCG. Hey, anything can happen! We saw what happened this week, right? There is one week of regular season football to watch.
