I am posting this STADIUM RANKING one more time because you obviously either don't read before you post or are incapable of comprehending.

You post these rankings apparently thinking that it is helping your argument. Yes, LSU is ranked #1 in the articles. BUT, there are multiple SEC schools also listed in the top 10. Hell I even saw Louisiana Lafayette on one of the lists - said it was a bucket-list destination for college baseball fans.

Lists from 20 or 30 years ago probably had LSU and then EL ZIPPO from the the SEC. I'm sure lists back then included Miami, USC, Wichita State, Ok St, Cal St Fullerton, Stanford, Texas, etc.

The other schools are catching up. The SEC has more money to spend on baseball than the other conferences and still doesn't win the NC every year in baseball.

2016 Coastal Carolina
2015 Virginia
2014 Vanderbilt
2013 UCLA
2012 Arizona

It is NOT that LSU doesn't have great facilities. It's that unlike in the past, many other schools now have great facilities also.

Besides facilities, in the past, if a player wanted to be assured of playing in Omaha with a chance of winning a NC they would go to one of a handful of schools - LSU, Stanford, Texas, USC, Wichita St or one of the Arizona schools.

Now they can go to all of those or schools like Coastal Carolina, Virginia, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, etc, etc.

Our pitching generally lags behind.
.
We get used by top prospects as draft leverage. They end up going pro and many times we are left searching for decent pitching.

*CPM is one of the top paid coaches in College Baseball if not the highest paid.

*LSU outdraws every other baseball program in the country and it isn't close. LSU has led the nation in college baseball attendance for over 15 years.

*LSU has TOPS to help with scholarships.

*LSU has a tremendous home field advantage.

*LSU is one of maybe a handful of Baseball Programs which actually turns a profit.

*LSU's baseball facilities are some of the finest in the Country.

His salary is driven by market. Texas wanted him pretty badly and was willing to pay top dollar.

LSU "outdrawing" other programs doesn't mean anything and home field advantage doesn't matter much when you play in the toughest conference in college baseball.

Profit has nothing to do with anything.

Facilities don't matter. Almost every program in the SEC (except Florida) has nice facilities.

Manieri has been to 4 CWS and 6 Super Regionals which is damn fine compared to the rest of the programs in the country. That is production. How many BCS bowls did Elmer Fudd have? Three! (in 11 seasons). There much more parity in college baseball than football.

Everyone has same scholarship limits.

Actually this isn't true. Vandy since they are a private school can put every kid on scholarship. Ole Miss, State, AU and Bama don't have lotteries and have anything like the TOPS scholarships. If you remember Polk at State use to raise heck about this. College baseball is not on a level playing field. Doesn't mean a team can't win though, but some schools do have a scholarship advantage.
