He needs at least 4 more rings to be the best coach in school history, much less greatest of all time lol

With that roster it's CWS champ series or bust and it was that way from the beginning

Not saying OP is right but the bar has been raised and its harder to win multiple titles than when Skip was coaching.

I think there are a handful clearly out in front of CPM:

Skip Bertman
Raoul "Rod" Dedeaux
Augie Garrido

And I'm probably missing some others.

He is already the only Coach to have over 1300 Wins and a College World Series Win. He is already in his own Class!!

since Skip left LSU in 2001, Texas (2002 and 2005), Oregon State (2006 and 2007), and South Carolina (2010 and 2011) have won multiple titles.

Speaking of South Carolina: since Mainieri came in 2007, South Carolina has won 2 titles and lost a 3rd in 2012, Vanderbilt has won 1 and lost one (2014 and 2015 respectively), and Georgia, Florida and Miss State have all made it to the finals and lost. That's just SEC teams, Virginia, UCLA and Arizona have also made multiple appearances in the finals. If you go back to 2006, then North Carolina made 2 consecutive trips to the finals.

In comparison, LSU has made it to the Finals once with Mainieri in the same period, and won.

It's hard to call Mainieri the best coach in the SEC during his tenure, much less the greatest of all time.

Pat Casey and Ray Tanner have multiple titles since Skip left
