I hope this game is as easy as many of you profess. I'll be happy with a win.

It wont be a nail-biter, but it wont be easy. It's the first game... Defense might have some missed assignments and the offense might be rusty. We should be fine though.

Is Aranda helping with all linebackers or does Peveto have a role with a specific group this year like he did last year?

Aranda is fully coaching the linebackers as well as the defense as a whole.

Some of it can be attributed to Dave Aranda's scheme of disguising/hiding blitzers, but Wisconsin's LB's are very good.

When Aranda was at Wisconsin, he coached the Inside Linebackers. Tim Tibesar was/is in-charge of the Outside Linebackers.

Players like Vince Biegel, a top-three player at his position in HS, likely excels no matter who the coach is. He is the top-returning 3-4 OLB in the country, according to PFF.

Wisconsin has always been strong in the middle over the last decade having players like Chris Borland (2x All-American, 3x All Big ten), Mike Taylor (2x All Big Ten), and DeAndre Levy (2x All Big Ten).

I've said it multiple times that I expect Wisconsin to take a step back on defense with Aranda now at LSU, but you would think that Wisconsin's defense will have trouble walking after reading some of these topics.

Expectations will be there when you return three of four LB's and have a player that won Defensive MVP in the Holiday, whom may not even start.
