Yeah, there were at least a couple of untailored suit comments on Ram Nation two nights ago.

half windsor knots are not proportional. It's what 8th grade kids who have to wear ties to school wear.
The last 4 presidents from a quick search have rocked half Windsor and four in hand asymmetrical knots.....

They also rock Windsor knots

I tie a Windsor as well at times. I was being hyperbolic because the poster said grown ups don't use half windsors. So I responded with what I saw fitting for such an idiotic comment

Time will tell who the better coach is. From a recruiting standpoint I'd lean toward Wade. On X and O's they are about even. I think Rhoades is probably a better players coach. He was DIII national player of the year in the 90's. He'll also stick around longer I think because he is a Richmond guy.

at the end of the day the knot chosen should be based on collar spread, width of tie and size of the person wearing it.

eta and neck size. Skinny neck dudes look ridiculous with a full windsor sometimes. That's some douchey fresh out of business school just got a job on wall st shite IMO.

Agreed

Personally in a strict business setting, I equate half windsors to bankers, lawyers and CEOs, and the traditional windsors to high end realtors....

Exceptions to every rule though

I wear a half windsor for the most part because I don't wear wide ties. I'm not a fan of the big knots. Personal preference.

I don't care if he wraps that tie around his head like a turbine, as long as he turns this baby around.

So you were there and can quote the entire conversation? Good because mind reading skills are at a premium I hear. you could probably get paid well, after all nobody else can read minds so your skill should be in high demand.

Imagine if cameras caught Orgeron sitting on the bench chatting with one of his sons while A&M was driving in LSU territory. I'm sure we'd all withhold judgement until we knew what the topic of the conversation was.

I don't know...but if that tie isn't aggressive and do things the right way, it will find itself in the bottom of the tie drawer very quickly.

Normal people would...
what if there was a family problem or emergency?
Point is, you have absolutely no idea what the conversation was about...so shut the pie hole.
I guess CPM is the only man in history to speak to a family member while in the middle of an intense work day. And he should be fired and arrested immediately for offending your idiotic sense of propriety.

Stop thinking you have some inside knowledge that nobody else does. Or that you can read minds based on a screen shot that probably captured half a second of real time. You don't.
