That's a half Windsor someone needs to teach this man how to tie a full Windsor like grown men do. Lol.

The half windsor is absolutely the proper grown man knot. The full windsor is a "look at me knot."

You would look like a jackass as an attorney, congressman, or any important businessman with the full windsor.

or maybe use whatever knot that best helps you to reach proper tie length. and full windsor is hardly "look at me," it isn't some wild shite like an atlantic knot

What is going on in this pic?

We are losing a home super regional to Coastal Carolina and CPM is taking some time away from the game to catch up with his son.

Huh? Any knot can be proper length on the same tie.

Highly unlikely. It was probably between innings

I mean just look at the way he's holding that binder, gotta see those patterns from a different angle ya know. He's sadistically chuckling at how fricked the SEC is now.

We are down in the series 1-0.
We are losing the game 2-1.
There are 2 outs and a runner on base in the bottom of the 4th.
No big deal though. Nolan can draw from his experience and position the outfielders.

I do think it's an interesting pic, which is why I asked. It was an unusual time to be sitting on the bench, explaining something to a person not on the LSU roster or staff. It speaks to the psyche of CPM. When times get tough, maybe he wonders whether all the time invested is worth it. Maybe in that moment he felt guilty about worrying about a ball and a stick when he could be bonding with his son.

There is plenty to criticze PM about. Him bring into the game isnt one of those. Dude is more upset in game interviews than anyone. You can tell by listening to interviews how well he remembers all situations from the game. Knows the rules and argues almost all necessary tough calls. Yeah, the assistants can position the players, they have the charts with scouting reports

Paul doesn't miss/forget a situational setting in a game, ever. you can ask him about games 5 years ago and he can spit out the setup. Agree with josh.

Ok it was already determined that he appears to be a nerd, a cool nerd. He doesn't appear very athletic as if he never play the game before, yet knows the X's and O's and how to teach. A little Whiz IMO. He seems like the ultimate cerebral coach like the Professor.

Im not sure what this even means but half windsor knots are not proportional. It's what 8th grade kids who have to wear ties to school wear.

It seems like you are associating a full windsor with the merrill hoge giant knot and that is a false assumption.
