I would love to see a game in the Cow Palace. I was just a little too young for the Pistol Pete days here.

Would be awesome, I’m sure anyone who appreciates the history of LSU basketball and Pistol Pete’s contribution to it would be ecstatic to see that. But then again, our dumb arse AD probably doesn’t fall into that category so I guess we can keep dreaming

Aramark is probably involved in some way with his decision.

I’ve sent a note. I would gladly donate money to make this happen. The PMAC was opened my senior year.

I think the logistics are just too much of a pain in the arse to make happen. You have to move the court over there, probably have to clear out all the dirt and smell from the livestock shows, wire the place for TV and radio broadcasts, figure out locker room situation, clean the place up, etc. Sounds like way more trouble than it's worth.

There have been college games played on aircraft carriers.

Move in there permanently until the pmac is dismantled and replaced by a more earthly structure.

Would be interesting to see if the cow palace could be revamped to permanently house basketball only. Would be amazing.

Too young to have seen a game there, but I’ve always heard that lingering smell was sort of part of the “charm” of the place.

Wha? I’ve been in there the last decade or so. It wouldn’t be all that hard to get a bobcat and grade that ground flat. Then just rent a court and roll the goals over there.

I would absolutely lose my fricking mind if this happened.

I. Will. Wade. For that man to do anything.

Is this really it, sons? Has this man actually come in here and changed the culture of LSU basketball?

If he keeps winning and Basketball revenue is rolling in, Alleva will make it happen.

That facility is begging for a clean up and upgrade, it has a prominent place on campus and in LSU history and is deserving of TLC

A basketball only facility would be nice but ultimately not worth the price tag and it is too small.
