Will this upcoming year be a down year in regards to future NFL 1st round

draft picks from LSU?
Sports Illustrated gave an early look at the 2012 top 40 draft prospects and not one LSU player is listed. I know we're fairly young across the board so do you think we'll have anyone creep up this season as a potential 1st round pick and keep our streak alive?

a Junior could break out.
D-LO with a great season would probably be best bet. He is a physical freak and the versatility would be a big upside, 1st round worthy...TBD.

Rueben Randle, Russell Sheppard, and Mike Brockers can declare early and have the tools to be first rounders if they have break out seasons. Morris Claiborne has the most potential to be a first round and will be eligible. Deangelo Peterson may be the best returning senior but doesn't have the size to be a first rounder unless he shows Vernon Davis type of athleticsm.

The seniors on LSU roster are not gonna be really high picks. The good thing about this team is that we have a lot of players back that will get better and are more seasoned. Kind of like Auburn last year, LSU was very young last year. Some underclassmen would have to blow up, like Randle, Brockers, or Loston (draft eligible so).

Streak ended last year. Chad Jones was the highest drafted and he was taken in the 3rd round.
