I changed the battery in mine yesterday and listened to all I could handle for a few minutes of the Les Miles Show earlier tonight.

Still works.

Bought it when we played S. Carolina over there a few years back.

680 the Fan am is broadcasting ESPN radio coverage. But even with a local station reception is VERY spotty inside the Dome. Sometimes for night games I can get WWL am. But I have to tilt the radio or my head if wearing headphones to fight to keep signal.

This info about the local station coverage in the LSU Atlanta Fan Guide, which has all kinds of local info from the alumni chapter. Spend your money with businesses that support LSU year round. The Tiger Kickoff Bash Friday night has a great lineup plus Tiger Band/Golden Girls and the chapter and band are earning a donation from ticket sales. Great party, great cause.

There is usually a feed on FM inside of the stadium/dome that comes straight from the booth. Somewhere around 103.5'ish.

The headsets that you buy for $20/season are technically only good for 1 season of picking up the game direct, then revert to being a cheap FM receiver. For the direct feed of the game through the "special" headset, you were supposed to have to buy a new one each season.

Use a walkman, tune it to the upper part of the band, and save yourself $20. If they fail (which happens from time to time), THEN start looking on AM for a local feed. Only had to do this at Georgia last year because the FM in stadium feed didnt work too well in the nose bleed.
