A great way to analyze this over/under is to compare it to our game against bama last year. Because teams always play at a consistent level...and because that game didnt carry any extra motivation for LSU

I figure the motivation to "stop being Bama's bitch" would add some extra motivation, as it would for any other team in the SEC.

While the pain of loosing the NC game 2 years ago is still real; the truth is that it was the only game LSU did not win, or should have won in the last 6 years. Hard to say we have been Bama's bitch. Just ask them what team they they do not assume is a win on their schedule.

Let's set the bar at 150 yards. Over/under for LSU rushing?

Only thing that worries me about this game is its the opener. Nothing against tcu but barring some bad breaks and multiple turnovers we should win by a couple scores. Over on the 150

Answer the question. Florida held us under 100 yards rushing last year and beat us. Can tcu keep us under 150?

TCU is a really good defense..especially vs the run.

It will not be EASY. But, LSU will wear them down and run more effectively later in the game.

LSU will rush for OVER the 150. But, it will be tough sledding for a while.

Without Devonte Fields, TCU doesn't have much of a chance against LSU. Other than Clowney, he's the best DE in college sports.

Sincerely,

this beat down everyone expects is a dream.

Chip Kelly said that before the game in 2011. After the game... He changed his tune. I fully expect a beatdown.

Healthy OL = holes for back to run through = lot of yards on the ground. Big difference is hopefully Cam has put in vertical passing attack which has potential of being successful. = no stacking the line to prevent the run = lot of yards on ground. also TE who receives as well as blocks. 12 days and we will see if our annual pre season optimism holds up.

This'll be interesting to see how it plays out. Coach P is gonna throw 7-8 in the box the entire game

i'll bet he starts out doing this also. i also bet he modify's it before the first half is over. our passing game ain't gonna be our passing game of the last few years; in fact, the last few games of last year revealed a lot and we will have better OL and better WR's. just sayin.
