Blue winds up with 107. Hilliard ends up with 86 yards rushing on 11 carries. Magee has 26 yards on 3 carries with 2 catches, 58 yards, and a 36 yard TD on a jailbreak screen call on 3rd down.
LSU finishes up with just shy of 225 yards rushing (we may take a sack or have a TFL or two), and with Magee's TD, Mett finishes with 3 TD's passing and 278 yards passing on 28 attempts.
Patterson takes it up the tailpipe and removes his visor for the grin and bear it session inside Jerrahworld for the post-game presser looking for answers as to why he couldn't stop an LSU offense on its way to 500+ yards of total offense WITHOUT Jeremy Hill getting a single snap.

If we can't run on TCU somethings wrong....we passed on half of their DL during recruiting...take a look at their Dts and DEs....has a Louisianan flavor, I'd say...

I think LSU puts up 200 plus on the ground. But I think there are going to be some crudial third down conversions that are just not made preventing otherwise good drives from scoring.
The question is can TCU's O move the ball and score on LSU.
If they can, and the defense can prevent drives from becoming points at least half the time, TCU has a chance.
We will see.

So you're saying that if TCU moves the ball and is able to score and the defense is able to stop LSU from scoring, TCU has a chance to win the game?
You should be getting paid for this type of analysis.

3 West Monroe guys will see significant time for them. LSU wins, but this beat down everyone expects is a dream.

That is what teams have been doing for the past 5 years to LSU's QBs.
We have ran great on average since Miles has been here
150 - 2005(41st in nation)
165 - 2006(26th)
214 - 2007(10th)
166 - 2008(39th)
122 - 2009(84th worst OL since the 90s and lost first 3 RBs on the depth chart for the season)
186 - 2010(26th)
202 - 2011(15th)
173 - 2012(46th)

yeah, yeah...
TCU's O with Pachall at the helm is fast paced
LSU's o has been slow and methodical but damn effective on the ground.
Total yards in a game does not always equal a W
If TCU can stop the a portion of the long drives from scoring while at the same time striking quickly it may be able to pull this one out.

Coach P is gonna throw 7-8 in the box the entire game and force Mett to beat us with his arm

Very real chance this is exactly what happens.
A great way to analyze this over/under is to compare it to our game against bama last year. Because teams always play at a consistent level...and because that game didnt carry any extra motivation for LSU

I figure the motivation to "stop being Bama's bitch" would add some extra motivation, as it would for any other team in the SEC.

Not hating but every team that we have played over the past 5 years has stacked 7-8 in the box. I'll take the over, over and over again.
