I saw a mock draft that had him going 13th and Cook 10th. I don't see how its possible he would go that late but do you think missing bowl game has hurt his image...to go along with signing and not being with the team

No, he is recovering from an injury. Needs a good combine score.

He should have bought a ticket and sat in the stands...at least shown some kind of care. IMO. I know the kids on here don't agree.

Not so much the injury but him not being with his team mates is my question. I think he is better than D. Cook but some GM's might not and they may give him the edge for playing in the bowl game.

I also saw another mock draft that had JA 3rd and LF 6th...I didn't realize JA could go in top 3.

He was not allowed to travel with the team per NCAA rules. Why would LSU take him to a game he will not play in when they can bring in someone else to add depth?

I know but many on here were saying he would be there for his team on his own dime...he wasn't so will that affect his draft position?

No i don't think it will effect his position. The only thing that would effect his draft position is the performance Cook put on against Michigan and how the combine goes.

It will not. The NFL does not care if he missed a bowl game with a lingering injury. If he puts up a good combine, no one will talk about this again.

It will be ironic if his choice to sign early ends up costing him

Lucky I'm not a GM. It bothers me.

its not about not playing its about not being on the team. I know the NFL doesn't care about him performing in a bowl game. If it was a playoff game I think it would matter.

He'll go the same place he was going to go anyway. I can see someone taking Cook before him though. 2 different style of runners. It'll depend on the scheme. Fits with Carolina and not so much with the Saints given the schemes/use of the RB.

No it should allow him to heal up.

Playing in the bowl game hurt Adoree Jackson.
