Why not wait a bit longer? Harris showed potential last year. If by the end of this year we don't see much development in Jennings/Harris or by the end of next year we don't see someone consistent, then we can bitch. It's too early to write Harris off. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't show what he's capable of until his senior year.
Yep. The dumbassery from the media and fanbase, kill me. Jennings was a true sophomore getting his first year starting. Harris was a TRUE FRESHMAN getting his first play time (it's only like his 3rd year of playing organized football). Neither had a returning veteran WR or TE to rely on. Neither had a dominant OL to rely on. Neither had a previous 1000 yard back to rely on. They both play in the Air Coryell system that requires a lot more time to actually become serviceable in than a simple wide open spread. Neither of these guys came from pro style systems. Neither have been given 2-3 years to learn this NFL LEVEL system. Both of these guys were thrown into the toughest division of college football without a life vest. Same thing happened to Lee and Jefferson, except neither had a QB coach. These guys do, and these guys will get better, both of them.
I say cut Cam some slack. It had been over a decade since he last coached teenagers. This 'everything right now, I'm too damn impatient' society isn't just being lived by teens, adults are guilty as well, and sometimes even moreso (sports is one of them). Just ten years ago, it was almost a given that a QB would be redshirted unless he was a 5 star (and some even still redshirted). Look at 5 star Matthew Stafford as a true freshman.
52.7% 1749 yards 6.8 ypa 7 TD 13 int. In his second year, he increased his ypa by 0.5, his TDs by 12 and decreased his ints by 3 with 92 more attempts. His third year is where he truly blew up. This was a similar path that Jamarcus took.

I bash Miles as much as the next guy, but you are an idiot...he has no problem recruiting them, the development just sucks once they get here for the most part. I am actually impressed we get as many as we do

A sad case of Bad recruiting and schemes on offense to be honest.
Since Flynn left , we had 1 QB that could bring LSU to the Top of the SEC. Mettenberger !!
And please don't say JJ , the defense got us to the BCS Championship and our coach was honored to play again the team that whipped HIS TaiL ... ??????
