The ND series was also a Tuesday-Wednesday game prior to Road Series @ Tennessee. so the travel all made sense as Baton Rouge, to South Bend, IN, to Knoxville, TN to Baton Rouge made sense.

LSU will play another road non conference series but it will be once every 3 or 4 years. Why would LSU give up the money of a weekend series and pay money to go on the road. Baseball makes money and they want to keep it that way and that means as many games at the box as possible.

Also playing on the road in the SEC prepares the team for away regionals.
