The defense has mostly been pretty good. However, Pts/game against has been between 19-28 every game-- Eastern Michigan even had 22 points.

The Florida game is an example of how teams have scored points on LSU despite having mediocre success against the defense. T. White fumbles and Callaway returns a punt for a TD.

LSU does have 6 ints and only 1 fumble recovery. Ranked 96th in turnovers gained per game.

Who, if anyone, won't score at least 19 points against LSU this year?

I'll take 19 points every game as long as we score at least 20.

I don't think LSU's defense has recovered a fumble this year.

Herron recovered one against Auburn.

He's horrible and should be fired but I'm pretty sure BDP didn't run up on a bouncing punt and let it hit him in the shoulder.

I'd rather beat Florida 35-28 than lose 14-6 or something like that.

Well one was a punt return = not against the defense

The other was after a muffed punt on a short field and they needed a 4th down play to get the TD

That is 14 points off two ST plays

Then you have a young secondary getting straight tested every week and I think they played pretty solid.
Florida abandoned the run because they were behind 2 TDs almost the whole game.

The defense is much improved from the BS we saw from Chavis especially with the pass rush.

It's only going to get better and points allowed are something to keep an eye on but LSU has no trouble putting up 35 a game so if a team scores 21 who cares. Not me.

Just keep winning!!

They aren't getting the long field they're used to either.

It was pretty nice to see us hold Florida not once, but twice, in the latter stages of the 4th.

Treon Harris misfired on 8 of 10 at one stretch, I think they said, when they clamped down. On the 11th play in the stretch, Harris was sacked.

Like everyone is mentioning, if the ST didn't constantly put the D in a shite position then we would be giving up less than 19 pretty consistently.

Just win, this is a fairly simple formula. If and when LSU loses a game many will be able to say I told you so, in my September, October, August, perhaps November, December, or January post. It is not like you guys will stop and enjoy the season.

Why all the downvotes? You're simply making an objective assertion about a fact. I don't get some of the posters on this board.
