What has JJ done? I don't understand your logic. If JJ was good enough to force him to transfer don't you think he woulda seen some meaningful snaps by now?

seems like the problem is that the coaches thought hatch and JL could carry the season- now 3 losses later and too many pick 6's to count- they have a problem- they should have been bringing JJ along faster- and error on their part
unless there is something we do not know- like jj cannot read defenses ( as if JL can) or JJ does not listen to coaches ( as if JL does) or JJ does not know the play book ( I am wondering if JL does- sure seems like he and his receiver are on a different page)

He needs to transfer to a small school. There is no way he is an SEC calibre QB. He can't read defenses and his arm is mediocre. Hatch is worse, so Jordan Jefferson and Russell Shepperd are the only hope.

Why is everyone dismissing Chris Garrett? And I think it is a stretch at this point to assume that Shep comes in and starts over JJ unless JJ cannot grasp the offense or play book. The bigger question for me and more worriesome is if JJ does not get significan playing time these next 3 games then we will go into next season not knowing what he's got and if he does turn out to win the starting job then we are going to have another season with a QB who has very little experience if any.

i'll agree with the read Defenses part, but lee has a strong arm. Just because it isn't JR freaky strength doesn't mean he doesn't have a legit arm.

Having 5 QBs next year and possibly the year after I definitely see SOMEONE tranferring. Very tough to keep 5 guys happy.

The problem isn't that the coaches haven't brought JJ along fast enough... The problem is that JL should still be learning on the bench. But, because Perriloux couldn't stay clean and Hatch can't stay healthy we are playing our third option. JJ isn't ready either. Why would we want to throw another young quarterback to the wolves?

I don't know, but if JJ/RS/CG beat him out I think he will transfer ala Rick Clausen. He sounds in his interviews that he feels he has the ability and that he is going through a bad spell. If he were throwing picks where the DB is making exceptional plays to get the picks, I would give him leeway. He is throwing off his backfoot inaccurate with his throws, I don't know if he can improve. Maybe if he shows more improvement in the last 3 games/russell didn't come on until the IOWA game. So maybe there is still hope.

Heard this when JR was the starter, whenever RP threw a pick. Now I see this observation is passed to JJ before even attempting any significant amount of passes. So after the observations of Lee is he reading defenses well enough to justify 14 picks and 6 pick 6's.
