There is a very large LSU Alum base in B-Ham. I suspect we will be represented as well as any other visiting team (i.e. not Auburn or Bama).

I've never been but I imagine LSU fans dominate the SEC baseball tournament like Kentucky fans do in basketball.

a) shame on you!

b) Actually, all schools turn out (with the exception of UGA) pretty well.
c) It is essentially a home game for Bama and Auburn so they are the Lion's share.

I lived in bham 5 years, I saw very few vandy, fla, UK fans

Bama had a lot, Aub not really but they are so bad in baseball they usually aren't even in the tourney

LSU and s Carolina bring a lot

Ark usually represents well considering how far they travel

This year 8 teams have a chance of only playing 1 game so it will be interesting to see if those fans travel with that factor in mind

I'm thinking about going for the weekend kind of spur of the moment. For those that have gone in the past, would I have trouble finding a hotel room or no?

Probably not unless you wanted a specific hotel close to Hoover. I just made Thursday night reservations last night at the Marriott which is about 8 miles from the park. But there are a lot of hotels in that area, I could have gotten one closer but I had some free Marriott nights so I went that route. But I've gone probably 6 out of the last 10 years and never had a problem getting a hotel and or tickets.

It's a good weekend of baseball no matter who is playing but certainly much better when LSU is there.

I still think they are blaspheming Tiger Stadium by holding that concert there....and I like country music.

Don't buy anything there. Take everything you need with you.

It all depends on who is playing in the sessions. Since all the west teams should be in, it depends on who loses on tuesday since those games are single elimination. Top 4 seeds get a bye and then wed begins double elim

Hate to say it, but State has had the majority of the fans lately. Of course, they won the tourney last year. Close proximity to Starkpatch makes a difference, too. Living here in MS I get to hear all about how great they are and their tradition in baseball; then I ask how many championships they have...
