next year? If he doesn't, then that would be a huge disappointment to have the best player in the country and not put him in a position to even have a chance to win it. Huge disappointment he wasn't invited this year for sure. I sure hope the staff uses him other than the predictable runs plays right into the 9 man fronts.

This is weird, as great as Fournette is.. Maybe leaning on him too much isn't what we need.

Idk though. We have so many play makers on the field

It hurt our team giving him the ball in certain situations all the time. He has made the playbook even smaller.

NO

It only goes to players whose teams are in it at the end.

One dimensional teams, especially from the SEC, won't be in it at the end.

He is the best RB in college. He is the greatest at LSU ever. He will be great in the NFL.

Cheer for the team.

That will greatly improve his Heisman chances.

Were they in the SEC?

Do they face bama and lose every time?

Nope

They lost 3 and 2 games. If he has numbers he will win it.

He had 2 games less than this years likely winner, put up similar numbers and was not even invited.

When did Fornette run "into nine-man fronts?"

If he is superman, why didn't St. Augustine win the prep championship of LA? They lost in semis his senior year.

It seems as if a lot of you have little understanding of what a good running back can and cannot do, or even what his role is. If I were a coach trying to win I would use him as a decoy some...but noooooooo, he has to "win the Heisman." I've got some bad news...he isn't winning the Heisman if LSU is 9-4 next year.

And if we try to "win him the Heisman," we will be 9-4.

people don't care about that

Henry only averaged 5.8 a carry,

they don't care that he played 13 games

they care that he has 1900+ yards to Buga's 1700

NO. Les is changing the offense. we're going to be throwing that football 35-40 times a game. Although we may be throwing it to LF 15-20 of those times, if that is so then YES, he may win the heisman.

I don't care. The Heisman is a farce at this point.

Let's win the west and everything else will fall in line.

Even if LF had more yards than Henry or the others, he was not going to get the Award, for a handful of reasons that are not his fault. The severity of the Prime Time beat downs are a factor. It's frustrating, but the Heisman might as well be a team award that the team MVP goes on to accept...So next year, I guess the question is will LF have the supporting cast and coaching to win the Heisman? We already know he has the talent.

Not that funny. Why worry about covering our WR's? They either can't catch or the QB over throws them. So run an 11 man front.
