Will Canada have some Clemson in our new O?

I have liked the Clemson offense for a few years now. I'm not sure what kind of spread they run, but it seems different than the Baylors and OSUs of the college football landscape, but I like it. More misdirection than OSU, more plays out of sets than Auburn, and more West Coast than Baylor, IMHO.

Even in the loss last year, the offense was pretty smooth.

I think we need to incorporate some of these concepts.

I have heard Canada runs a system around the types of players he has - I don't know if this is true or not. But what system(s) does he generally run? With there be some Clemson in our new O?

I think I noticed some similarities of Clemson's O and Canada's O. Some presnap movement that kind of causes confusion for the opposing defense. Really looking forward to seeing Canada's offense with LSU's personnel.

LSU doesn't have a QB on the roster or coming in that can make the plays that Watson made last night.

Agreed. I think it puts a QB in a good spot as well - DT or passer. They walk the line really well. I think the QB runs less in that system, which I also like.

I hope it's more Canada than Clemson in our new offense...especially since his offense beat Clemson this year.

It's just the truth. The good thing is Canada is kind of known to able to work with QBs. We may get to that point but right now my point still stands.

Clemson's is very creative, very deceiving in many instances.

Actually they do. The problem is, Canada will have to make up for three wasted years of development with Harris in a hurry to get him back to first string.

How can you say that when you haven't even seen the new guys play a college game yet?

Don't under estimate the importance of Watson to that offense. You can't just plug any QB in that offense.

i dont like their offense that much tbh. I dont like the fact that they are completely spread and never run with qb under center even if 4th and inches. Certain things they do bother me. I need a happy medium which i thnk Canada gives us

Is canada is fortunate enough to come across a D Watson, i think so. They don't just fall out of trees, though.

I hope you are not holding your breath waiting for that to ever happen.

I can, with 100% certainty, say that Narcisse and Brennan will be nowhere near what Watson has been the past 2 years. They may get there but it won't be next year.

No because Pitts D isn't as good as Clemson's.

Yes.

They also attached the edges, middle, and deep - all places other than between tackles.

This, generally, is what we will need to do. You don't run right at Bama, plain and simple.

When they did run between tackles, there was a lot of movement. But again, this is back to just how their offense works.
