Daniels isn’t the spark we need. Case study it out - Arky and Aggie last season completely shitting the bed. He will make for a fine backup QB2 but we’re going off the rails if he continues to start.

Man y’all putting this whole loss on Daniels shoulders is wild. I personally prefer Nuss but this act is so silly. Receivers dropped balls in crucial spots the entire second half. Yea Daniels has some flaws and Nuss is the better arm but for some reason our fanbase continues to put it all on Daniels and not on the awful playcalling denbrock put forth.

we're putting the trend of bad qb play on daniels. he's a great kid, no doubt, with talent, and i don't doubt he's giving everything. i don't hate him. i just think it's a losing proposition to let him be our qb. he just can't be the best on the roster.

Daniels didn't have a great game, and yes he's got some limitations as a passer but this game was not on him! We could not run the damn ball, WRs had some key drops, both of which lead to their defense pinning their ears back to rush and they beat our o-line most of the night. Daniels shares some blame sure, but he did not lose this game alone that's for damn sure!
LSU's QB2 is always the next Heisman candidate according to our fanbase for the last 15 years, aside from Burrow's 2019 season. Nuss has a great arm and pushes the ball downfield to try and stretch the defenses, that can be great at times but we've also seen him be a gun slinger and try to force balls in throw picks. So he's got his limitations too, it's just not with arm talent.

I’m not ready to call for JD5 to be benched because he makes plays with his legs BUT I’m at the point where I want equal playing time between him and Nuss.
Or better coaching. Either one would be fine with me.

If our coaching staff is going to start a mobile QB, and not call plays to utilize his mobility, that’s not necessarily the QB’s fault. The entire game plan was shite on both sides of the ball.
