Pocic is really athletic and will get some playing time this year under center for sure (and maybe move down the line later in his career), but he is not ready weight-wise to play G or T. He needs to put on some weight which will come in time.

Losing Wiliford will hurt from an experience standpoint. He was one that could probably fill in at every position. Early reports were that Vadal would replace him, but some young guys will have to ready now in case of injury

frick. I hope Josh is ok. You really hate hearing about incidents like this. Its time for him to step away from the game & think about his long term future. Finishing school would certainly be a good start. You just have to hope he doesn't develop the long term effects of post concussion syndrome early in life.

Or rg turner moves over and Fanika moves up. I think I heard Fanika can only play on the right?
It's highly unlikely they would move last years 2nd team all freshman tackle to guard.
It's over for Willford it's very strange for an ol to get 2 major concussions! I wish him the best!

I appreciate this young man's hard work and efforts to play at LSU. But, for his health and future life, here's hoping he exits now with it intact.
There's just way too much concussion studies information coming out of the fight game and football,etc..in recent years to ignore it carelessly.

Why is that? Jerald Hawkins may be a better fit to protect Mett from the outside rush.

I don't care if Williford starts or not, I more so care if his brain starts seeping out of his helmet mid season.

Me too. A whole lot of people thought he was a wasted scholarship when he signed.
