Stevenson would be a perfect lead off but we tried that and it didn't work. You can use Breg as a lead off because that would force pitchers to throw to him or start a game with a walk then stolen base. However, he is a run producer and those guys usually bat 3-4 hole

He is third on the team in RBIs and just barely ahead of Scivicque. Does he produce runs? Yes. But, it's not like he is leading the team in RBIs from the 3 hole. In fact, our leading run producer bats in the 7 hole.

Which is the most baffling thing that Paul Maneiri has ever done in my mind. I just cant and will never understand his reasoning for batting Chinea in that spot.

Here you go bud. This is why:

LINK

Yeah--- but that means a walk & a steal to start every game possibly. With three hitters to follow with no double play possibly == jumping on the other team early-- this is about
Team. An scoring early rather than coming from behind like we did
A lot this season. One day we are gonna run into a Great Pitcher--
Let's try to rattle him by getting Bregman on base more????????

Lol, Bregman has not been hitting good in a month. He has a good eye and makes good contact just right to someone most of the time lately. Leave it the way it was

I'm not against this idea, but would prefer
Laird
Bregman
Hale
Chinea
Fraley
Stevenson
Scivicque
Foster
Pap/Zardon

What in the world has made people call for paps to Dh.

Have you seen his approach at the plate the last month?
He's figured it out.

Pap will be be a destructive force on a baseball before he leaves LSU. I wouldn't mind Pap.

Pap is batting .214 with around 46 AB.
He is young and inexperienced and he has not figured anything out yet.
Why put him in now? Too much pressure.
I expected more, but his time will come and we will see if he can be a force on the team.
If CPM gives him a chance.......Juco catcher coming in next season

I don't think Pap's would strikeout as much as Sciambra.

Yes I heard he's good.
Good bat and build for a catcher.

Bregman is a clutch hitter very consistent. Get some speed on the bags and let him move them around to score
