Why won't JJ throw to Dickson???

Dickson was wide open several times Friday and JJ throws to a double/triple covered WR deep. This has happened all season long. Does JJ realize that the TE is an eligible receiver?
Dickson had 5 TD's in 2007 as a soph while splitting time with Zinger and ZERO TD's his sr year.
It's baffling, because a good TE is an inexperienced QB's best friend. Another case of talent going to waste the past two seasons.
Maybe this is Crowton's solution to "having too many weapons"?

i thought we would be successful this season based on how many times Dickson caught the ball. figuring that with the talent we had at receiver, he would have to be open all the time, and he was a talented receiver himself.
blame this more on coaching than on JJ. if they can't point out the fact that he needs to find his tight end, who can?

JJ threw 4 TDs last yr, 2 of em to Dickson. Dickson was his favorite target in the Chick Fil A Bowl. I have no idea how he got lost in the game planning this year.

I know he was injured for part of the year, but Dickson's lack of involvement in the offense, particularly in the red zone, is inexcusable.

Everything about this staff is baffling and the mistakes are obvious, makes us all so angry yet we can't do anything about it

there was so many wierd things about this offense this year, it makes one wonder if maybe there wasn't something going on behind the scenes. was there a division that fragmented them? were the sr's selfish and actually retarded JJ's growth? did marie leveaux cast a major hex? it is obvious they were disfunctional; so much so that it was hard to figure.

Penn State played zone about 90% of the time. The best way to bust a zone is to throw to the tight end underneath. This baffles me to no end.

JJ's inability to throw to anyone but his #1 receiver is the problem. Usually, the TE is not the primary receiver and the quarterback has to recognize the coverage and check down.

Exactly , JJ throws to the #1, gets sacked, or scrambles half assed.
He'll hopefully get better at making reads next year. I don't remember a single time when he dumped to a RB or TE

bc he doesnt go through his reads, picks one receiver to throw at and he will stand back there and wait until the guy is open, then throw the ball..as a result, he gets sack all the time

False. JJ is a good qb. Give the kid time in the pocket and he will produce. What hurt in the bowl game was dropped passes. Coaching is also the issue. I wouldn't blame JJ.
