Yea lets have a team play til after midnight and the start a game at noon followed by one at 4-5. That makes sense. Nothing bad can happen there.

Ur asking a team to possibly play 3 games in close to 15 hours if that happens. After they probably home at around 1:30-2. In bed at 2:30. So u want them to play a double header on 6-7 hours of sleep. The dumb move was canceling game tonight. Not starting early was smart.
