Did Skip not appoint Smoke as AD? Didn’t Skip have the chance to match Miami’s offer and refuse to do so because he was tired of it every season? Skip was an abysmal AD.

No he didn't...he allowed Foley and Shark fricker to make LSU look like the bad guy in all of that. He got played like a fiddle.

He tried to go back on his word to Wade about upgrading. Every major program is in an arms race, and LSU isn't at the forefront.
Herman is a douche. Hiring Orgeron after a pathetic "search" isn't any crowning achievement, though.
He deserves the hate he gets. He, along with F King, has turned LSU football into a program that is no longer elite.

I'll play along one more time. Storm was going nowhere near Gainesville. The narrative at first was Florida trying to get out of the game due to injuries. It was quickly turned against LSU, which has been the usual with Alleva in charge. Losing that game with shitty coaching didn't help either.
